Circuit How we create living content
Most travel guides are written once by experts and quietly go stale afterwards. This is why we developed Circuit to keep our numbers honest and create truly living content. We don’t store data in prose. Every price, fee, and policy figure on a Circuit page lives in a fact table with source data and date. Our research agents re-check each source on a regular schedule and they then inform our editor anytime a change has been observed. Every proposal must be confirmed and approved by a human editor before appearing on the page. In addition, to ensure full transparency, each approval is written to a public change history with the old value, new value, and the date and source, so it is easy to see what changed and why.
- 1
The source
The party that sets the figure: a hotel’s booking engine, Disney, the county record, a broker’s own rate page.
- 2
An agent reads it
On each page’s own schedule, a research agent reads every source and reports what it finds.
- 3
A proposal
Anything that moved becomes a proposal with its evidence. Nothing is published yet.
- 4
A person approves
Our editor checks the proposal against the source before anything on the page moves.
- 5
The page updates
The page, its tools, its JSON and its Markdown all change together.
- 6
The history records it
The old value, new value, date and source are written to a public record that cannot be edited.

“Circuit was built because I kept finding stale Disney Vacation Club content online on Website interfaces that looked twenty years old. I found DVC media and fan sites would state things as fact without listing their sources. Circuit is my answer to that. Every figure has a source, a date, a real person who checked it, and the page tells you when it was last updated.”

Our tools run on Circuit too. The Compare-O-Matic and the Point-O-Matic compute from the same approved figures their pages print, so when an editor approves a change, the page and the tool move together.

What we Promise
AI can write a page in seconds, and most of what it writes is slop. It sounds sure of itself and reads like everything else, and nobody checked whether it’s right. We use AI agents for the part they do well, which is reading every source on a schedule and flagging what changed. A person does the part that matters. Before anything goes live, a human editor checks every figure and every change against its source. A person also reads and edits everything else on the page before it is published, including its title and its description. Circuit is what lets us work this way, and it keeps our pages more accurate and more current than an editor could by hand.
Promise 1
If we can’t point to where a number came from, it will not appear on the page. The few numbers that are our own estimates are labeled as estimates.
Promise 2
Agents find and propose but never publish. Nothing changes on a Circuit page until a person has read the source and approved the change.
Promise 3
The full history is public. Every approved change to a figure is listed with its date, the field, the old value, the new value and the source, and that record cannot be edited after the fact.
Promise 4
We show you when we last checked. Every page tells you the date of its last real change, how many of its prices were re-checked in the past 30 days, and the date of its oldest check. A stale number cannot hide behind a fresh one.

Look forthis seal!
Wherever you find the Circuit seal, every figure has been traced to its source, dated, and checked by a real live person before it ever reached you.
