A platform fee on rentals booked here. That is the whole list.
Seven percent from the renter, four from the owner, on completed bookings. That revenue is our only commercial interest in the DVC ecosystem.
What does not
No sponsorships, affiliates, or paid coverage in either direction.
We take no money from DVC brokers, blogs, podcasts, media outlets or other publishers for coverage, and we never pay for mentions of ourselves.
Named, so you can check.We have no affiliate, sponsorship, revenue-share, commission or ownership relationship with DVC Rental Store, DVC Resale Market, David’s Vacation Club Rentals, Keyholder Vacations, The Resorts Companies, or any other DVC brokerage. We compete with them directly.

Why this page exists
We publish editorial about the DVC point rental market, including content that names competitors, brokers and other publishers. In an ecosystem where financial relationships shape coverage, readers deserve to know exactly how ours are structured.
Editorial independence
We do not accept paid sponsorships, affiliate commissions or compensation of any kind from DVC brokers, blogs, podcasts, media outlets or other publishers in exchange for coverage. We do not pay for editorial mentions of ourselves, and we do not accept payment for mentions of any third party.
No broker relationships
No affiliate, sponsorship, revenue-share, commission or ownership tie to any DVC brokerage, named or otherwise. We are a competitor, and we write as one.
How we fund the business
A platform fee on rentals completed on the marketplace. That is our only commercial interest in DVC, and we do not monetise editorial through affiliate links or sponsorships.
How we treat other people
When we describe another publisher’s financial relationships we use only public information: disclosed sponsorships, stated affiliate relationships, corporate filings and press releases. Where we cannot confirm one, we say so. We do not imply undisclosed relationships, and we never present a paraphrase as a verbatim quote.

How we verify Disney’s numbers
Point charts and thresholds
Every point-chart figure on this site traces to an official Disney PDF, which we keep on file. Charts are transcribed with per-week checksums and independently re-verified against the source document before they are published, and our compliance tools use only thresholds Disney has published. When Disney revises a chart, our numbers follow the document, never the other way around.
How we produce editorial content
Sleep Around Points uses AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content. Every published page is reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by a named human editor who holds final responsibility for its accuracy. Our policy positions, Disney citations, and factual claims are verified against primary sources by a person before they go live.
Machine-readable publishing
We also publish machine-readable versions of our content for AI assistants and agents. Everything served to a machine is held to the same accuracy and sourcing rules as everything shown to a person, and it is reviewed the same way.
